Intensives
Intensives are private psychotherapy sessions for individuals and couples who want a more in-depth experience, or who are traveling from out of town and cannot make it to weekly sessions.
For individuals, we will explore areas such as how childhood family origins affect how you function in relationships, work and parenting. For singles, dating issues might be critical. We will show you how to navigate through dating, grow healthier through each experience and we’ll address any sexual concerns.
For couples, we will explore ways of communication to increase the connection and intimacy in your relationship, resolve conflict, and work through shame, guilt and anger. Working privately with a therapist for 4-6 hours will produce the same benefit as a weekend couples workshop or a number of monthly therapy sessions. An intensive session can create the same dramatic and long-lasting shifts in the relationship. The tools and insights you learn from an intensive can be applied in daily life immediately.
Some of the following techniques are used for both individuals and couples:
Imago Relationship Therapy, sexuality counseling, sexual addiction, bibliotherapy (writing therapy), group therapy, guided imagery, visualization, and other techniques
