Couples Intensive Sessions

Couples Intensives, lasting between 4, 6 and 8 hours.

Working privately with a therapist for 4-6 hours will produce the same benefit as a weekend couple’s workshop or a number of monthly therapy sessions. An intensive session can create the same dramatic and long-lasting shifts in the relationship.  The tools and insights you learn from an intensive can be applied in daily life immediately.

CRSH therapists have helped many couples reconnect and helped each individual to improve their communication skills and find joy.

Imago Relationship Therapy

Transform your conflicts into opportunities for healing and growth.

Imago therapy is a specific style of relationship therapy designed to help conflict within relationships become opportunities for healing and growth. The term imago is Latin for “image” and, within imago relationship therapy, refers to an “unconscious image of familiar love.” According to Imago theory, when we are attracted to a potential love partner, we’re actually picking the perfect person to help us work through our wounds from childhood. The combined traits, both negative and positive, of our male and female caretakers from childhood form what is called our Imago. With this form of therapy, our therapists help clients open up the dialogue between them. We help you:

  • Agree to Listen to Others Without Judgment.
  • Accept Your Partner’s Views as Equally Valid As Your Own.

Polyamory

Polyamory, meaning “many loves,” can be defined as the practice of having or pursuing multiple romantic relationships with the knowledge and consent of all involved. Falling into the category of ethical nonmonogamy, polyamory is becoming increasingly recognized as a relationship style. Polyamory is distinguished from polygamy in that polygamous people are married to more than one person, whereas polyamorous people may or may not be married to one other person. Our therapists can help partners navigate polyamory and other non-monogamous relationship styles. Issues that may affect non-monogamous partnerships include:

  • Boundary Navigation
  • The Potential for Jealousy
  • Safe-Sex Practices
  • Communication Skills
  • Feelings of Inadequacy or Neglect

The goal of family therapy is to help family members improve communication, solve family problems, understand and handle special family situations (for example, death, serious physical or mental illness, or child and adolescent issues), and create a better functioning home environment. The goals of this therapy are:

  • Develop and Maintain Healthy Boundaries

  • Build Empathy and Understanding
  • Promote Problem-Solving by Better Understanding Family Dynamics
